FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Explore some of the most common questions our patients ask about Integrative Medical Testing.

What types of health concerns do these tests help identify?

Advanced Testing assesses a wide range of issues, including inflammation, hormonal imbalance, nutrient deficiencies, toxic exposures, digestive problems, immune dysfunction, neurological performance, and cardiometabolic risk.

How do I know which test I need?

Your provider will recommend testing based on your personal health history, recent basic blood work or imaging, individual signs and symptoms, and your health goals.

How long does it take to get the results?

Each test has a slightly different processing time. Most results are available within 2-4 weeks, though in some cases they may be sooner or later.

Are these tests painful or invasive?

These tests are mostly non-invasive (saliva, urine, stool, breath, body composition scans), while some require a blood draw. Tests such as neurological function with Brain Gauge are quick and painless, taking 15-20 minutes.

Will I need to repeat any of these tests?

Possibly. Depending on the test and its purpose, the retesting timeline can vary. Some should be re-assessed yearly, and others more frequently. Most are used to assess the efficacy of the treatment plan and will be assessed before initiation and after completion of the recommendations.
