BOWEN THERAPY

Bowen Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive, and relaxing body manipulation therapy that involves gentle pressure to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing for rest, recovery, and repair of the body.

HOW IT WORKS

In each therapeutic sequence, carefully timed pauses are used to separate each move and allow the body to focus its attention on the area of injury. Bowen Therapy offers patients one of the safest, fasted, and most effective modalities for treating chronic conditions, acute and chronic pain, as well as improving overall health.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS

Bowen Therapy has many benefits which can address individual health goals. Depending on the condition, severity, and individual aspects of a patient’s case, more than one therapy session is typically required. However, patients often report experienced benefit after the first session.

What a treatment session looks like

The treatment involves a clinician performing precise rolling-type moves over muscles, tendons, and ligaments in a therapeutic sequence to address different health concerns.
Typical treatments are scheduled one week apart and although most patients require three to five treatment sessions to experience significant results, many experience a sense of improved well-being after their first treatment.
