OZONE THERAPY

Ozone therapy has been used and studied to combat many diseases and conditions since the early 1800s. The therapy involves introducing ozone (O3) into or onto the body in intravenous (I.V.), intramuscular, subcutaneous, or topical forms. This is both a safe and effective way to administer an ‘extra’ oxygen molecule attached to the O2 (oxygen) precursor which can improve mitochondrial function, blood circulation, and reduce pain.

HOW IT WORKS

Once the Ozone (O3) has been administered it enters cells and dissociates into oxygen (which is rapidly converted into water) and ozonates (remaining O1 molecule). These ozonates interact with many cellular components including mitochondria, enzymes, DNA, and other abiotic molecules to elicit numerous cellular effects.

INDICATIONS

IV

  • Increase oxygen levels in cells

  • Improves immune system function

  • Improved circulation

IM / SC

  • Muscle strain or ligamentous sprain
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Disc herniation
  • Spondylolysis

TOPICAL

  • Diabetic foot ulcer
  • Warts
  • infections
  • Open wounds

INSUFFLATION

  • Benign prostatic hyperplasia
  • Ulcerative colitis

WHAT IT CAN BE USED FOR

Due to the Ozone’s vast mechanism of action, it has many indications. With Intravenous Ozone, we can apply UV-B light to the therapy or add IV nutrient bags in sequence to augment your Ozone therapy. To assess if you could benefit from the Ozone therapy, contact our team of qualified health professionals at Radiant Health & Wellness.

What a treatment session looks like

IV Ozone – otherwise known as automehotherapy (MAH) – is a procedure whereby a small amount of patients blood is drawn, exposed to a precise dosage of ozone, and then re-administered back into their vein. Thereby safely administering ozone gas into the bloodstream, and effectively increasing oxygen supply.

At Radiant Health & Wellness our clinicians are trained to evaluate each individual patient for their candidacy for the therapy and recommend safe, effect, and patient centered therapies that align with our patients conditions, concerns, and goals of therapy.
