Andropause, also known as late-onset hypogonadism, is a gradual decrease in the body’s testosterone level with older age. This is characterized by a series of physical, psychological, and sexual change in men starting around 45 years of age.

CELIAC DISEASE

Celiac disease is an autoimmune condition that occurs when the small intestine cannot metabolize gluten. When gluten is consumed by a Celiac patient, many inflammatory processes are triggered within the gastrointestinal tract which results in damaging of the lining of the gut as well as impairing nutrient absorption. Common nutrient deficiencies with Celiac disease include iron, copper, magnesium, vitamin B6, vitamin B9, vitamin B12, and vitamin D.

Fibromyalgia affects 1-2% of the Canadian population (550,000+ people) and shares many components with CFS. 

INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE

Inflammatory Bowel Disease is characterized by inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract. Depending on where that is, characteristics of the bowel tissue, and specific symptoms, the diagnosis of Crohn’s disease (CD) or Ulcerative Colitis (UC) can be made.
