PLAQUEX
PlaqueX is a medical grade formulation of phosphatidylcholine (PC) that is administered intravenously to achieve significantly higher blood serum concentrations than oral PC. It is composed of soybean lecithin and contains a high concentration of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) which improves cell membrane integrity, repair, and regeneration. PC is also the precursor molecule to acetylcholine which is an important neurotransmitter in our memory formation and retrieval, nerve conduction, and muscle control.
HOW IT WORKS
Every cell in the human body is encapsulated in a plasma membrane predominantly comprised of a phospholipid bilayer and contains some hormone and cellular communication receptors, protein structures for communication and transportation of nutrients / waste in and out of the cell, and various other structures. This plasma membrane also allows our cells to exocytose (a process of ejecting material from a cell) cellular waste material, toxins, and potentially harmful matter.
As we age, are exposed to environmental toxins, heavy metals, and experience chronic diseases, this membrane becomes dysfunctional and stiff. That dysfunction is what predisposes us to neurodegenerative diseases, atherosclerosis (plaque build up in an artery), and many other diseases. If plaque buildup occludes blood flow, a patient may experience a heart attack or a stroke.
When we administer PlaqueX strategically over a precise period of time, we can give our cells the building blocks they need to function optimally. In the context of cardiovascular disease, this means prevention of plaque buildup, decrease in current plaque size, and improved circulation. In the context of neurodegenerative disorders this means proper building blocks to neurotransmitters as well as nerve conduction. In the context of chronic complex disease, this means proper ability to eliminate cellular waste, environmental toxins, and potentially pathogenic (infectious) molecules.
What a treatment session looks like
At Radiant Health & Wellness, a treatment session consists of a 90-120 minute intravenous infusion and is recommended for a minimum of 10 infusions. Most patients experience benefit after 8-10 infusions and it is therefore recommended to receive at least 10 with most patients experiencing peak benefit on average after session 20.
We recommend the first 10 treatments be conducted within the first 1-2 months (1-2 IVs per week) to assess their therapeutic benefit in a timely fashion and to front load the system with PC.
After 20 sessions, patients may opt for a maintenance protocol of monthly infusions if they are experiencing chronic or on-going diseases.
